Where to Find Sakuko’s Mailbox Key
Apart from puzzles, Silent Hill f gives side paths leading to collectibles like lore notes and keys. One of them, the key to Sakuko’s Mailbox, unlocks both story secrets and a valuable charm.
When you come back to Ebisugaoka for the second time, the main story prompts you to go to Rinko’s home. Do not go straight through the fields on the right; instead, go north with the map and climb up to the Sennensugi Shrine. The route is safe; thus, you should not encounter enemies.
Here at the shrine, look toward the left side. The Mailbox Key greets you, along with a letter from Sakuko’s mother warning her not to speak about the strange voices she hears.
How to Use the Key
The mailbox is at Sakuko’s house near the starting area. Retrace your steps from the Hokora, turning left, then right past the Chizuruya General Store to reach it. Enemies guard the spot, but you can dodge them and open the mailbox to receive the Hospital Letter (A Federal Offense Achievement) and Omamori (Spider), a charm that slows weapon durability loss from light attacks.
